Six random things about me….
1. I used to take dance classes at the Alvin Ailey Dance Company with my friend Francesca when I was in high school…I used to love dancing with such a passion, and still do, though I don’t take dance classes now
2. I am a history freak…my favorite comfort reads are biographies and American history
3. For somebody who writes about technology, I am not necessarily technology’s friend :) I tend to break computers, cell phones, email, etc, a LOT.
4. My favorite cartoon show is Pinky and the Brain…my nickname was Brain during the original run of that show
5. I am an early riser by nature…if you left me to my own devices, I would be up with the sun every morning. However, I would also have a two hour afternoon nap every day…
6. I once lived on nothing but ramen noodles for a week. Please don’t ever do that if you can help it!
I hereby tag everybody who is reading this post and would like to play — please leave a link to your blog in comments and we’ll come visit.
Have a great weekend, y’all…

Number 5 is me. I can’t “sleep in” too late ever since I had those four pesky children. So now my body clock is set on “mind-numbingly early.” But I would LOVE a nap. Also can’t do that, thanks to Child #4 being a hellion. However, I am firmly convinced once he enters kingergarten, if I am not already dead, I will resume nap-taking.

I always wanted to dance but I am so clumsy both of my parents laughed when I suggested it. Instead they stuck me in soccer. Looking back on it that was the smart thing to do.
I love history as well majored in it and taught it but I really dislike American History my focus was more on Ancient and World History.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Erica!!!
I feel your pain
Now that my older guys are in nursery/elementary school, it’s just me and the little peanut in the mornings. Alas, he’s a catnapper who gets most of his naptime on my kid taxi runs, so the delicious opportunity to nap together in the Big Bed is lost. *sigh*
I lust after sleep these days, more than chocolate. And that is saying something!
Be well and have a wonderful day,
Michele

Hi Sarai!
I love American history b/c it’s so much more compact than classical and world history…more like a soap opera than a cosmology. I love studying the characters, terrifying and inspiring, that make America what it is today, for better and for worse. A real study of character.
I love ancient history too, though. The Roman Empire is fascinating…growing up, I was obsessed with the Claudius books by Robert Graves.
Thank you so much for stopping by, Sarai…I smile when I see your name!

Thanks! I smile when I journey over here and check in
(I just realized that made me sound like a total stalker huh I’ll have to think about that…)
But I digress, the real reason I am here is this: I told my husband that I made an online friend that happened to write a really cool fantasy book and he rolled his eyes and said “what another romance.”
Nope but a great story and he didn’t believe me until I showed him the book. I haven’t seen him in a few days. And the book is so getting read! (I’ll let you know if he discovers that it is a romance plot tangled in there he can be dim sometimes he calls it slow I call it denial)
I think he has taken it to work to the guys on the force (me rolling my eyes) Anywho I’m glad I discovered you and your writing keep up the great work.

Hey Sarai!
That is so cool…my husband is obsessed by this story too. I think it’s the hardware and the Matrix aspect to the story that caught his interest.
Thanks for letting me know about this
